Not Just Another Ream

Pentagram just blogged about their new designs for Strathmore paper (in the Mohawk family of papers). They redesigned the ream wrappers, which if you work in an office and find yourself opening these all-too-frequently, you know how boring/atrocious most of them are. These are really bold and would be a welcome addition to any exposed storage. Kind of genius to make them pretty when you consider that offices display hefty stacks of these. The pattern is also really lovely, with a beautiful damask swashiness that meets a more modern geometric twist.

Right now I have an ugly ream of "Weyerhaeuser" paper under my monitor. I would gladly switch it out for this fine piece of art! What a brilliant and elegant idea.
